No One is Alone in This Fear
A Flight That Changed Everything
Kristin’s fear took root after a traumatic experience on a flight from Anchorage to Chicago. Mid-air, the plane experienced a flap failure—a mechanical issue that, while safely managed by pilots, can be alarming for passengers. The unexpected malfunction left her deeply shaken. The incident was so impactful that on a subsequent flight, overwhelming anxiety caused her to run off the airplane before takeoff.
